We are proud to report that the Ethics and Public Policy Center has earned its third consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest charity evaluator, for sound fiscal management. According to Charity Navigator’s letter to EPPC, “Only 14% of the charities we rate have received at least 3 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that the Ethics and Public Policy Center consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America.”
On October 10, EPPC Distinguished Senior Fellow George Weigel was awarded the TOTUS Prize by the Work of the New Millennium Foundation, which is sponsored by the Catholic bishops of Poland. The prize, which was presented at a ceremony in Warsaw’s Royal Castle and televised nationally, was given in honor of Mr. Weigel’s work in “promoting the thought of Pope John Paul II.”
On November 14, 2007, Abad Oliba University in Barcelona, Spain, gave a Honoris Causa Doctorate to EPPC Distinguished Senior Fellow George Weigel.
On the unanimous recommendation of EPPC’s board of directors, EPPC is pleased to name George Weigel its first Distinguished Senior Fellow. “George’s new title is in recognition of his remarkable contributions to EPPC over the past two decades,” said William R. Burleigh, chairman of EPPC’s board.
