EPPC Earns “Exceptional” 4-Star Rating for Sound Fiscal Management

October 6, 2010

We are proud to report that the Ethics and Public Policy Center has earned its third consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest charity evaluator, for sound fiscal management. According to Charity Navigator’s letter to EPPC, “Only 14% of the charities we rate have received at least 3 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that the Ethics and Public Policy Center consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates the Ethics and Public Policy Center from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

In response to the rating, EPPC President Ed Whelan said, “We keep our administrative and fundraising costs to a minimum so that our supporters get maximum policy bang for their buck. Charity Navigator’s ‘exceptional’ rating of EPPC is yet another indication that we’re delivering on that commitment.”
