Jamie joined EPPC from the Heritage Foundation, where for nearly a decade he researched a wide range of issues including welfare, poverty, immigration, and education. His response to false accusations of “extreme poverty” in the United States was cited by our delegation to the United Nations. His analysis of the expected net cost of “Medicare for All” to the typical American family was featured on Fox News. He influenced the Trump Administration to adopt more stringent work requirements for food stamp recipients. He submitted several unique, data-driven comments that slowed undesirable Biden Administration regulations. His opinion pieces have appeared in The National Review, The Washington Times, The Washington Examiner, The Daily Signal, and numerous other publications.
Jamie has also worked in business as a forecaster and a consultant. He began his career in the George W. Bush Administration, where he served with the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Council, and the Council of Economic Advisers.
