On March 1, 2017, EPPC President Ed Whelan took part in a panel discussion at Georgetown University Law Center in which attorneys and legal analysts talked about the confirmation process for President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch. The event was televised by C-SPAN.

Panel moderator Adam Liptak of the New York Times introduced Mr. Whelan as “a must-read blogger” at National Review Online’s Bench Memos blog.
