On November 30, 2010 EPPC Fellow James C. Capretta delivered a lecture at Ball State University entitled “Understanding the Policy and Politics of Health Care Reform.” Mr. Capretta’s remarks focused on the structure of the new health care law, its implications for the U.S. economy and fiscal policy, the political considerations which drove the debate over its passage, and what might constitute a market-based alternative.
