Herbert Schlossberg, Historian of Christianity and Society, Joins EPPC

March 13, 2006

The Ethics and Public Policy Center is delighted to announce that Herbert Schlossberg, a leading scholar on Christianity and society, has joined EPPC. Mr. Schlossberg is the author of several books, including, most recently, The Silent Revolution and the Making of Victorian England, which studies the effect on English society of the religious revival of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is completing a follow-on volume that takes the study to the end of the Victorian period.

“Herb Schlossberg is an outstanding scholar, and his rich historical perspective on Christianity and society will shed valuable light on current issues of public policy,” said EPPC President Ed Whelan.
