(Washington) – Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) fellow Stephen P. White has been appointed Executive Director of the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C.
The Shrine, owned by the Knights of Columbus, features a variety of exhibits highlighting John Paul II’s tremendous life and legacy, as well as hosting events and special devotions. Tens of thousands of individuals visit the Shrine each year, making it a preeminent destination for Catholics in Washington, D.C. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops officially designated it a national shrine on March 14, 2014.

That brought me, twenty years ago, to EPPC to work with George Weigel and to the Tertio Millennio Seminar.
