His incisive writings on judicial power, the rule of law, and republicanism in American democracy illuminate legal questions that justices, judges, and constitutional scholars continue to grapple with today.

Please join the American Enterprise Institute and the Ethics & Public Policy Center for a symposium on Justice Scalia’s enduring impact on American jurisprudence. Leading judges, scholars, and Supreme Court advocates will convene to explore how Justice Scalia’s thought has shaped debates over executive power, originalism, administrative law, and religious liberty.
