Another week brings another example of ideologically driven trans insanity, with National Review reporting that Eventbrite will no longer sell tickets for a series of talks on protecting women’s sports that features Riley Gaines. While Jack Phillips continues to be hounded for refusing to bake cakes celebrating trans delusions, those who dare to argue that biology is actually quite significant in parsing the definition of “woman” remain fair game, it seems.
NR quotes a predictably pious email from Eventbrite to Gaines that declares “Specifically, we do not allow content or events that – through on– or off-platform activity– discriminate against, harass, disparage, threaten, incite violence against, or otherwise target individuals or groups based on their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or disability”— unless, of course, that “identity” happens to be that of a woman grounded in biology, in which case you must be erased. Lunacy meets hypocrisy, a hallmark of our enlightened age.
