Today is the 20th anniversary of the founding of Bench Memos!

I’m grateful to have been here from the beginning—through the Supreme Court confirmation battles of eight of the nine sitting justices; the transformation of the Court into an institution that my old boss, Justice Scalia, would be very proud of; countless explanations, praise or criticism of judicial rulings; and much more.
