EPPC Fellow Makes Bold Election Prediction

November 4, 2024

(Washington) — In less than 24 hours Americans will head to the polls. While some analysts are refusing to make a final call in the incredibly close presidential race, in the New York Post EPPC Senior Fellow Henry Olsen makes a bold prediction: Donald Trump will win the electoral college 297 to 241 – and possibly the popular vote.

Olsen correctly predicted the 2020 election and was one of a few experts who said in advance that the 2016 polls were wrong. For decades he has offered detailed and thoughtful electoral analysis. Today, he offers insight into how the 2024 election will conclude.

“I’m locking in my final answer: Trump wins the Electoral College 297 to 241, with Kamala Harris winning the popular vote 49.6% to 48.3%.”

Olsen further predicts Republican victories in the House and Senate noting that, “Trump’s victory will also carry the GOP to enhanced majorities in the House and a good night in the Senate.”

Olsen concludes his piece with a sobering and stirring call for national unity no matter the result of the election, “I might be wrong, as I have acknowledged. But there is one thing I know: Whatever happens, we must rededicate ourselves to our democratic republican ideals sooner rather than later if we want to keep our nation whole and sound.”
