EPPC Welcomes John McCormack as New Fellow

(Washington, DC): The Ethics and Public Policy Center is proud to announce that John McCormack will be appointed as a Visiting Fellow in the Life and Family Initiative beginning on March 1st. His work will focus on long-form essays on right-to-life issues and the future of the pro-life movement. McCormack will also continue in his current role as a senior editor at The Dispatch.

McCormack has years of distinguished writing experience which has been widely recognized. Prior to joining The Dispatch, he wrote on politics and policy as a fellow at the National Review Institute, was the Washington Correspondent at National Review from 2019 to 2023, and was a journalist at The Weekly Standard from 2007 to 2018.

Additionally, McCormack has appeared on a variety of news and public policy programs including PBS’s Newshour, NPR’s On Point, MSNBC’s Morning Joe, CNN’s Inside Politics, HBO’s Real Time, and several Fox News shows. McCormack was raised in Baldwin, Wisconsin, and now lives in northern Virginia with his wife and daughter.

The Life and Family Initiative at EPPC works nationwide to analyze and advance pro-life policies. McCormack joins existing Initiative fellows Mary FioRitoErika BachiochiPatrick T. BrownAlexandra DeSanctis, and Nathanael Blake.
