On December 16, 2011, EPPC Fellow James C. Capretta participated in a public forum in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the Brookings Institution entitled “Controlling Medicare Costs: Is Premium Support the Answer?”. Mr. Capretta participated in a panel and presented his views on why premium support is what’s needed to modernize the Medicare program (his views were also presented in a paper published by Brookings, available here).
