Senate HELP Committee Hearing

May 16, 2012 | U.S. Congress

On May 16th, 2012 EPPC Fellow James C. Capretta participated in a Senate HELP Committee hearing on “Identifying Opportunities for Health Care Delivery System Reform: Lessons from the Front Line.” Mr. Capretta focused his remarks on the inefficiencies of the Medicare fee-for-service program, the lack of true “delivery system reform” in the 2010 health care law, and the potential for a functioning marketplace to deliver higher-quality and lower-cost patient care. Video of the hearing is available here, and Mr. Capretta’s written testimony is available here.
