PPACA and Employer-Sponsored Insurance

January 31, 2012 | Economics21 Forum

On January 31, 2012, EPPC Fellow James C. Capretta moderated a public forum in Washington, D.C. sponsored by economics21, entitled “If You Like What You Have, Can You Keep It? PPACA and Employer-Sponsored Insurance.” Wyoming Senator John Barrasso kicked off the event with introductory remarks, followed by a presentation from University of Minnesota Law Professor Daniel Schwarcz on why employers are likely to dump their unhealthy workers into the PPACA’s state exchanges. Professor Schwarcz’s presentation drew from a journal article he co-authored (available here). Full details on the event as well as a video recording of the event are available here.
